Munchkin Loot Letter: Unboxxed!

Munchkin Loot Letter is one of several recent marriages between Munchkin and other games. It is a new version of the game Love Letter, a game created by Senji Kenai and published by AEG. The game itself comes with 16 game cards, 4 reference cards, a 13 tokens, an instruction book and a handy carrying bag.

Like other Munchkin products it comes with a unique care that can be used with original Munchkin game, and any of its spin-offs which is especially nice for anyone who is a collector of Munchkin paraphernalia.
Lovely, lovely loot...

Munchkin Loot Letter can be played by 2-4 players and is meant for ages 8 and up. The object of the game is to to be the last man standing, to possess the loot at the end of the game, or to possess the highest level card. The game is played in rounds, with a maximum of 13 rounds, and the person who wins a certain number of rounds (which is predesignated based on the number of players) is the winner.

The World of Munchkin describes it as 'a game of risk, deduction, and luck'. From my experience with the game I would say that's a pretty good description of it. One of the game's credits is that it is inexpensive, and portable. It is hands down one of the least expensive games that you will find, and when packed into it's carrying bag it is small enough to fit into a jacket pocket.

For those familiar with the game Love Letter you will find that the actual playing of the game is not at all different except for the card names, a healthy dose of Munchkin humor, and, of course, John Kovalic's artwork. This is not at all a bad thing in my opinion however since the original Love Letter is an incredibly fun game.

Please remember to comment! I love comments and comments make me feel loved. <3

Munchkin Loot Letter retails for $10.99 and you can order it from Warehouse 23, or pick it up at your locally owned game store.

Happy gaming, my little munchkins!
